Here's some great news: We are now forming a cadre of what we'll loosely call: "Friends of Autobooks-Aerobooks Automotive Calendar of Events" who will represent us at all sorts of west coast gatherings … We need fans of the shop and the magazine to stand in for us at shows, meetings, runs, cruises, at any and all places where the faithful gather to celebrate our shared auto-aero passions.
Here's what you get: For your first event, a unique Autobooks-Aerobooks baseball hat, you'll not only look cool but you'll be keeping the sun off your nose at the same time. An Autobooks-Aerobooks T-shirt (same stuff about looking really rightegous above) and a "THANK YOU!" certificate that will net you 20% off any book, diecast, or DVD purchase at (you know where).
Undying gratitude is a given here of course. Each subsequent event will net you another 20% off certificate for loot at Autobooks-Aerobooks.
Here's the deal: You contact us (minimum 2 weeks lead time) and tell us about the event that you plan to attend on our behalf. We stock you up on our new 2-sided mini-brochure and some back issues of ACE. You make sure that the people who attend the event get one or both of the above, answer questions about our store and our magazine and generally have fun at the event.
Simple, effective: Our best boosters have always been our patrons. We've tried every type and style of advertising there is and still find that friends telling friends about us is the real deal, and has been since 1951!
